Anita is another Czech model, photographed in the large LSG apartment in Prague. This is a very similar lighting set-up to last week's session: two big soft boxes off to the right, and in front of the model, and a plain background. This is a common fashion technique, and I love to shoot these gorgeous girls in this style, since the final scenario here is so much different than the common fashion layout.

This is a basic studio shoot, with standard seamless paper, big strobes, and our favorite subject, a beautiful nude model. Christelle's gallery is really a very simple excercise - naked girl applies body lotion - which makes for some very sexy / sensual poses; but you'll also see a great range of expressions on her face.
She has that young-and-innocent look, but also, at times, the professional fashion model's disengaged attitude, that we all find so irresistible (for some reason).
I also have a nice natural light session with Christelle, which we'll post in the near future, and which has a totally different look.

Today's set of photos is from a recent trip to London. We had a beautiful house in the English countryside, just chock full of naked girls.
I shot for 5 days, and I'd have to say that this session with Czech fashion model Wildy, is my favorite from the whole week. She is the definition of Stunning: tall, thin, blue eyes, not too young, but not too old.
So, if you're freezing in the snow and ice this week, you may be able to warm up with Wildy in her bright sunny bedroom, and her pretty yellow lingerie. I surprised myself by taking even more shots of her with her underwear on than with it off - but of course she's just as stunning naked, and we have some rather explicit examples of that too.

Kymberly has a great combination of a classic sexy pinup body and a beautiful but slightly wild & dangerous look.
We shot this series on my studio canvas set, at the end of a long afternoon - this is just one of four sessions with her. The only problem with a model like this is that it's never time to put down the camera.
As you'll see, she can look sweet and innocent in one shot, and then downright pornographic a few seconds later. Fortunately, here in the digital age, there's never a danger of running out of film, so I have many gigabites of Kym in the can. (so to speak)

Viki is back for another return engagement - this time in the dining room of a 300 year-old Normandy chateau, out in the French countryside.
We had seven models on site for this week long shoot last year, and I think I photographed every single one of them in this room, and on this table, before the trip was over. (Look for Nela and Ronni in their diningroom table sessions, in the Private Archive)
Viki seemed perhaps the most relaxed and "at home" of all the models, stretched out on this platform and shedding her clothes for the camera - and as you can see from this cover shot, she has just about the perfect physique for such an assignment.

As many of you know, I often shoot private commissions, most of which are never seen here, since they're, well, private. But once in a while, when I'm very pleased with a private shoot, and if the client / subject is willing, I post a few shots on the site.
That's the case with today's gallery - this is Mistress Matisse, the beautiful and infamous Seatlle blogger and dominatrix. These are the highlights of a huge cache of photos we shot over the course of a long, but very satisfying session - including a mix of things - portraits, some fashion shots (check out the perfect tight black dress she's wearing) and, of course, a few nudes.
I shot this session many moons ago, and I've been meaning to put this little collection together for quite some time. And while we all enjoy the pretty teenage models from Prague, I know there are a few of you out there just dying to see a real woman, with poise, self-confidence, and, happily, some pubic hair.
So if you're the type who'd choose Catherine Deneuve over the Olsen Twins, then you're going to love this series.
And if you like what you see, you might also want to visit her blog. In addition to being a pro dom, she's also a very sharp and witty writer on countless subjects, but mostly about s-e-x, and all its many permutations.

Today's photo set is unusually large; I've included a lot of images I might normally edit out, in order to show some of the rather innocent, awkward shots of this very sweet girl posing nude for the first time.
My intention is not to show her looking silly, but to show how these hesitant, unsure expressions can make very nice images, and can actually be very sexy as well.
It's also an interesting study in how the edit of a group of photos can make a huge difference in the impression one gets about the model, the photographer, and the photo session. It should be easy to tell which shots I would have eliminated to make it appear she was a seasoned veteran (and to also make it appear my photo skills were flawless...)

It's not often these days that I pull out my classic canvas backdrop for a photo session; and even though this is a color set, I think you'll recognize the look from many of my early black & white shots already posted here.
Amber had such a great look in the natural light of the studio, with her pale skin and gorgeous red hair, that I forgot about using the strobes for this one.
Photographers out there may notice the effect of setting the digital camera white balance to daylight indoors, which produced a blue cast to the gray canvas. I could have corrected that later, but I decided it looked good, especially with this model. And if anyone can tell me why the telephoto zoomed in accentuates the blueness, I'm all ears...

Anyone who grew up "reading" Playboy in the 60's and 70's as I did (well, anyone male and heterosexual) will be quite familiar with the body type of this week's model, Simi.
She's the classic Hugh Hefner centerfold from the glory days of the magazine - buxom (I think that's the first time I've ever used that word) pink cheeked, all natural and unattainable.
I used to think girls like this couldn't possibly exist, but now I have my own photographic evidence. This is a large set of images, with quite a few clothed and semi-nude shots (and, don't worry, quite a few very explicit nudes) since I encouraged her to take her time slipping out of her blouse and skirt and underwear.
For those who are as taken with this model as I was, look back a few months in the Archive for her first set of pics.

I started shooting a lot in Prague last summer, and we began with some local fashion models, most of whom were posingnude for the first time.
Viktoria was one of the first we shot at the studio , and even at 19, she'd already learned that fashion models never smile and always act bored.
She didn't have much trouble getting out of her clothes, but it was a challenge getting her to smile or laugh.
I'm posting a compilation of three sessions here, to show how she eventually comes out of her fashion shell and turns into a cute, smiley, happy, almost girlnext-door type.

I just saw an article on the web about Natalie Portman appearing nude in a new film, and I was reminded of our friend, Ronni, my favorite Natalie Portman look-alike from Prague.
Whether or not you agree about her resemblance to Ms Portman, I'm guessing you'll enjoy wondering if this lovely body is anything like that of the famous movie star.
Observant members will recognize the setting as the same one in which Nela was shot, in a set presented a couple weeks ago. Both come from the shoot I did last year in the French countryside. When working on a large project with numerous models, I often leave the lights and set untouched for several different sessions - not only for the sake ofefficiency, but also because I find it interesting and rather erotic to shoot several subjects in exactly the same setup (and of course the same can be said of my early black & white studio work)

The first day of our first shoot in Europe had some lovely girls waiting in the Prague studio, and I hadn't yet tested my lighting or camerasettings in the cramped space we were using. I sensed the models were getting restless, so while one went off to do her video session, I asked the others to just stand up in front of the seamless, wearing the clothes they'd arrived in, and undress.
I was then able to test the lights, camera and models all at the same time. Also, I must admit, even after all these years, I still get that warm fuzzy feeling when I can say to three beautiful young women, "Please walk over there andtake off your clothes."
(Bonus tip for you photographers: take a close look at some of these behind-the-scenes pics and you'll see that you don't need a huge space to make decent studio shots. Of course, you still need the beautfiul women...

I've just returned from another overseas shoot - this time, a week in London - so we're running a bit behind with our updates here.
Fortunately I've got a new exotic beauty to introduce - the lovely Dia, from Brasil. Her olive skin is quite a nice contrast to most of our recent models, plus she's got that seemingly rare (and imho very sexy) attribute among modern girls: pubic hair.
Also, for the photo geeks out there, you may be interested to know that this is the first session I've shot with the new Nikon 18-200 VR zoom. It's a great all purpose lens, and I think you'll enjoy the sharp close-ups I was able to get, in some of those hard-to-reach areas...

Another member favorite, Nela, was along on our famous Normandy trip.
This series was shot on a cold, rainy afternoon at our chateau in the French country side. There wasn't enough natural light in the old dining room, so I pointed a couple big strobes at her, and just let the rest of the room go dark. It has the effect of making her pop out of the background, especially when her clothes come off.
This is Nela's fifth appearance here, I believe; and every time I post something new, I get requests for more of this girl. It must be the eyes, or maybe the braces. (I always make sure to include a couple big smiling shots, for the braces fans.)

One final look at Sara - some excerpts from the fourth session with this European swimsuit model.
We've had a couple sets of her in the past few weeks, and I think I've received more positive comments about her photos than for any model in the past year.
So, for those of you who've written in asking for more Sara, I believe I've saved the best for last. This series was shot at the end of the day, when she was very relaxed and happy about the shots we'd already done. She had never had her hair piled up on top of her head this way, so I think at this point she was really having fun.

Just in time for Labor Day weekend, here's a large gallery of images shot a few weeks ago in the Czech Republic.
Wildy is a pleasant combination of sultry blonde and shy innocence. My memories of shooting her tell me she was bubbly and fun, with a constant monologue of jokes and friendly banter - but you'd never know it from looking at some of these killer pictures. As with most good models, she knows how to turn it on for the camera.

Member responses to the Prague sampler a couple weeks ago were fairly evenly split between some of the classic glamour models, such as Sara and a few of the younger models, such as Diamond, today's update.
If I'd had some dust on my lens, I could've done a good impersonation of David Hamilton with this session. The opening series of this set has that same soft innocent look.

A number of people have written in asking for more photos of Candy, who first appeared here a few weeks ago - so here is another set of her.
Over the past dozen or so years, most glamour and nude models in the US and Europe have adopted the habit of completely shaving their pubic hair. I suppose at first this trend was exciting and erotic, but now it's gotten way too common - and from what I can tell, a lot of you found it quite refreshing to see some photos of a naked girl with an old-fashioned full bush.

As promised, here is a photo sampler* from my recent trip to Prague. These are some of my favorites after another week's worth of shooting. You'll find a wide variety of faces, bodies, sizes, hair colors (actually they're mostly blond this time) and ages - something for everyone.
I shot 16 beautiful naked models in 5 days, and fell in love with at least a dozen of them. You may have a similar experience when you see the pictures...

And now a gallery for those of you who've requested that I shoot some models who are a bit more mature and womanly. Sara is what I would call "handsome", in the same vein as Salma Hayek or a young Sophia Loren. At the advanced age of 28, she's an established swimsuit and lingerie model in Europe.
Frequent (and observant) visitors may notice Sara's cover shot was done in exactly the same spot as last week's cover - one of the sunlit bedroom windows in the beautiful rented apartment in the center of Prague. The two models came in on separate days, but were photographed in the same room, as were a number of the 18 models we worked with that week.

For those of you interested in older, dark and mysterious models, you may want to skip this one - since Diamond is just the opposite. She has that classic young Scandanavian look - ivory skin, pure blond hair, and the sweetest smile north of Bangkok.
I'm normally drawn more to dark haired models, but I have to say I fell in love while shooting the series from #2371 to #2377 in this session. Take a look and see if you don't agree.

Viki is back with another very simple, but quite elegant series from my first shoot in Prague last year.
For the photography afficianados, I've included a couple shots that show the studio set-up we used. It was very cramped and hot, but we managed to come away with what I think are some really great images.
Viki was 19 at the time - slightly experienced with modeling, but still young enough to show that innocence that we all find so captivating. Or am I just speaking for myself...?

Today's photo gallery is both au naturelle and all natural - Candy is refreshingly "natural" from top to bottom, including a lovely unshaved patch of pubic hair, the likes of which I've not seen in front of my camera in years.
Even the little pink flowers on her tummy appear to have been there since birth.
We shot with only available window light, the infamous painted canvas backdrop, and a minimum of make-up (the blush you may notice in some shots is also natural).

I asked Stracy several times if she was sure she had her name spelled right on the release forms. She insisted it was correct, and I have to admit I lost all interest in spelling and paperwork, once she lifted her skirt.
This is another session from our recent trip to Prague, so there are some rather explicit shots at the end of this set. I suspect she's going to be popular with the viewers, so we'll have another set lined up for the near future.

Layla has been a popular subject with the members since I posted her first gallery a few months ago, so I'm putting up another set of simple studio nudes of her, shot with available light.
The studio floor is composed of beautiful old lacquered boards, which give off a warm reddish-yellow glow. So even though I set the camera white balance to "daylight", I always get images with an additional warmth. This is especially true of naked bodies.
In some cases I remove or neutralilze the warm tone, but in Layla's case I thought it added to her rather golden look, so I kept the adjustments to a minimum.

Last summer I shot for three days in a cramped studio in the center of Prague. Yashin was one of a group of beautiful fashion models who came in for the first of these sessions.
The heat in the studio was overwhelming (so much so that it melted our hard drive) but it turned out to be a bonus for this shoot, since it helped create the perfect sexy glow on her skin.

My friends in Europe helped me track down Eufrat in Europe earlier this year. She's a star on several of the top glamour sites, and I've wanted to shoot her ever since I first saw one of her sets on Met-art.
Now here she is in our own Private Archive. She's a classic beauty, and was great to work with - and she's certainly not shy.
As for her name, well I have no idea, exept she did say her father was from Egypt...
We shot several sets of photos with her - I've included a good selection of my favorites from her first session here, but there are some even more explicit shotscoming up .

I don't often shoot two women together - it seems too complicated and much more difficult to get decent images, at least for the way I usually work. My session with Mia and Nikita, however, is an exception.
This series comes from my first trip to Prague last year. The summer heat was very intense, especially in the upper attic bedroom we were using for this shoot. There was barely enough room for me, my camera, the two girls and a bottle of lotion. Somehow we managed to make it work out.

A new set for fans of Nela and her braces today. As more than one of you noted, if it weren't for the orthodontia, some of her pics would look right at home in the pages of French Elle (except, of course for the absence of clothing...)
She does have that "model" look practiced to perfection - but I always like to toss in a couple shots that show what she's really like, so don't forget to look at images 6186 and 6221.
This series was shot in the window of the chateau library in Normandy. For those of you interested in the technical details, I used one strobe and basically surrounded her with white curtains and reflectors. (The wide view of the scene is in shot 6182.)

Today's update model is getting to be quite popular on the web - she's on three or four of the top sites. And although this is Viki's fourth appearance here, these are actually from the very first time I shot her, last year in Prague.
I love this simple lighting set-up. Her glowing gold skin just pops off the screen, against the dark gray background. What you can't tell from the photos is that the temperature in the studio was over 100 degrees, which is why we were all "glowing " that day.

Here's that additional new set of Bente I mentioned last week - this time with a bit more makeup and a new hair-do.
I wish I'd taken a few snaps of her when she first walked into the studio, wearing just generic jeans and a t-shirt, with no makeup. She'd brought some of her school (college) textbooks to study during breaks, and the juxtaposition of those images along side these very sexual nudes would, imho, be even more erotic...
Let me know if that sounds appealing, and I'll try to include some candid shots in future sessions.

Just let me know if you're getting bored with this theme... but here's another picture-perfect European fashion model quite happily posing in her birthday suit. Hana has that wild Medusa hair that always has just the right amount of sexy messiness.
I told her she reminded me of a young Angelica Houston, only prettier. We tried to find a Morticia Adams dress for this session... but we didn't really try very hard, since I knew she'd end up like this.

Today's gallery is a series of natural light bedroom shots of gorgeous Demi (and you know I don't use that word "gorgeous" unless it's actually warranted) which crosses the line from fashion and portraiture into very explicit erotica.
I know some people will view this set of images and say "pornography"; others will see the same photos and say "Art"; and still others will say "how did you focus your camera like that?"
I'll assume you can decide the "art vs porn" issues for yourselves, so let's talk about selective focus. This is a technique I love to use, and I practiced it extensively in this session. With the higher end digital cameras (I use the Nikon D2X) you can choose which sector of the frame to set as the auto-focus point. Setting it in the center is the standard default, but if you choose one of the sides, and use a wide open f-stop, you'll get that lovely soft and dreamy look throughout the rest of the image. (I often do some additional tweaking in photoshop to accent the effect)
I recommend trying this not only for nudes, but for all sorts of photos, except perhaps those assignments where your client wants to see everything in focus.

Some details on the new Simi gallery: this series demonstrates you don't need a whole studio full of expensive lights and photogear to create decent pictures.
If you review the full set of images, you may notice that she's sitting or standing in a simple white closet, purchased at the nearby Ikea store. And if you take a close look in her eyes, you'll see reflections of two simple lighting fixtures, available at any European equivalent of Home Depot.
Just set your ISO to 800, set your White Balance to Flourescent, and startshooting.
Of course you'll still need to find a woman as great looking as Simi to get in your closet and take off her clothes...
I have a few more sets of this model, and a few other models in the same little closet, some of which may appear here in the near future.

Here's the first solo set of Nela in Normandy, shot a few months ago. Veterans of the site will recognize the multicolored couch, which we also used for one of the sessions with Viki.
I shot seven different models in this room, and although you may get tired of the furniture, I don't think anyone will be bored with the photos.
PS: For those who've asked, yes the braces are real, and not a prop - although if I'd known how popular this look would be, I'd have arranged for more of the models to visit the orthodontist before their photo sessions.

I shot several studio sessions with Heather, using some great lingerie from her personal collection. In this one, she squirms around quite a bit, trying to get out of that red teddy, but will she succeed...

If there''s anything more fun than shooting these photos, it's being able to "re-live" the best sessions when I prepare them for the site. That's when I really get to spend time with the images, and in a sense with the models as well.
This series of Bente was done just a few weeks ago. I had a group of models to shoot for the LSG project, and she was one of the beginners - young and not quite sure of herself, but very happy to give it a go.
I liked her immediately, but didn't have much time to work with her the first day, so I asked her to come back. Today's update is from her return trip, when we spent the whole afternoon together.
I enjoyed the shoot, of course, but in fact I get more of an opportunity to really look at her as I edit the image files - and of course you now have that same opportunity.
As you'll see, she has an impish little smile that says she's having just as much fun as you'll have looking at her.

When I first moved to San Francisco, I spent a lot of time at some of California's numerous nude beaches. The appeal was rather obvious, of course, but I discovered that the sexiest part of being at the beach was not actually watching the naked girls lying on the sand, or walking in the surf - it was watching the new arrivals take off their clothes.
Once completely nude, the girls' sexiness was somewhat diminished, it seemed.
With that in mind, I often photograph the models as they get out of their wardrobe on the set. During our recent foray into Normandy with the LSG crew, I had the chance to shoot a couple of the Czech fashion models stipping down to their lovely skin out behind the chateau. Today's update shows the results.
As you'll notice, I couldn't stop with just one sequence, so I asked them to do it several times. I've left in a number of shots one might normally reject - awkward stances, funny expressions - since I believe, in this case, those things add to the eroticism of the series. I hope you agree.

Today's gallery is a simple set of studio nudes, featuring one of the most beautiful models I've ever worked with - and that's saying a lot, since I'm not exactly a beginner at this.
Yashin is a Czech fashion model who works a lot in Prague and has appeared in their version of "Cosmo". We had her in the studio for several hours, and nude for the first time on camera. She's got the classic model body - long, thin legs and neck - and a gorgeous face.
I asked her to pose in the same way she would for a lingerie ad, or for a fashion magazine spread, except without the clothes. If you're like me, this is what you'd really like to see when you flip through Vogue or Elle...
I've also tossed in a couple black & white abstracts at the end - new additions to my "Y" portfolio.

Happy New Year.
I'm getting this new set of Mia in Normandy prepared prior to a quick trip to the California snow; so by the time you read this, I may already be wrapped around a tree somewhere near Lake Tahoe.
You may recognized the setting for this series of Mia - the entrance to the forest in back of our French chateau. She doesn't let on, but the air was getting a bit chilly as we finished up our first day of shooting. In some of the shots, you can see another model, Viki, wearing a winter coat in the background - although I doubt you'll feel cold looking at most of these images.
