A few years ago, I was approached by a woman who wanted to be photographed in character, with white Kabuki make-up, as a Chinese courtesan from antiquity. (first image of the set shows her without the make-up) We produced a number of photo sessions for this project, but what I'm posting today is a rather short, simple series of her "interacting" with a 5000 yr old Jade ....carving. (This set is an update from earlier this year, in our new format.)
