From time to
time, I conduct workshops for small groups of amature and professional
photographers and others who are interested in seeing how a typical
photo session is conducted.
During these
workshops, we discuss image theories, my own prints and those
brought by participants, shooting and lighting techniques and
other practical and artistic issues - and then I shoot a real
Studio Nudes photo session.
During the session,
I explain step-by-step what I'm planning, thinking and shooting
- and I even solicit suggestions from the participants. At the
end, we review the session, and quite often the model joins us
for a relaxed discussion and a glass of great California wine.
